Benefit Incidence Analyses for ADB Key Indicators 2006

Benefit incidence analyses of government health spending in five countries: Nepal, Sri Lanka, Mongolia, Viet Nam and Indonesia have been commissioned from Equitap by Asian Development Bank (ADB). The analyses will be based on the methods used in the first round of Equitap, and in the case of three countries will be updated analyses using more recent data sets than previously - Nepal (2002/2003), Sri Lanka (2003/3004), Indonesia (2004), and for two countries these will be the first Equitap estimates of benefit incidence - Mongolia (2002/2003), Viet Nam (2002). The results are to be used by ADB in a theme chapter looking at indicators of progress towards the health MDGS in its planned Key Indicators 2006 report.
