International Health Economics Association 5th World Congress, Barcelona, July 10-13, 2005

 

Equitap is presenting some of its key findings at two organized sessions at the iHEA Fifth World Congress in Barcelona. One session will present an overview of the findings on the overall performance of different health care financing and delivery strategies in Asia, and the second session will present findings on horizontal equity in health care use in selected Asian countries. In addition, several Equitap team members are making individual presentations of their Equitap findings elsewhere in the conference.

Final Equitap Conference, Kandalama, Sri Lanka, March 15-18, 2005

 

The end-of-project conference of the Equitap Project was held in the picturesque surroundings of the Kandalama Hotel, Kandalama, Sri Lanka from 15-18 March. It was attended by 50 participants representing all the Equitap partner teams, and policy-makers from nine countries and World Health Organization. Sessions reviewed the findings of the various components of the project, discussed their policy implications, and reviewed future plans of the consortium.

 

 

Equitap Workshop, Hong Kong University, Hong Kong SAR, December 14-16, 2003

The third Equitap workshop was held at Hong Kong University, Hong Kong SAR from 14-16 December, and was attended by 40 participants from Equitap partner teams, and from WHO SEARO and WPRO regional offices. Sessions reviewed progress to date in the project analyses, and planned next steps.
